A structured YCT pathway
We follow the internationally recognised Youth Chinese Test (YCT) programme, building confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing. Our teachers are fluent Mandarin speakers.
- YCT1 Beginners: greetings, numbers, pinyin and tones

My child has never learned Mandarin before. Can they still join?+
Absolutely. YCT1 classes are designed for complete beginners, starting with basic vocabulary, pronunciation, pinyin and simple sentence patterns.
My child speaks Mandarin at home. Are these classes suitable?+
Yes. Our programme helps children who speak Mandarin at home build confidence in reading, writing and formal language structures.
How much are lessons?+
Beginners (YCT1) is a 45-minute weekly class, £12.50 per lesson, with 39 lessons at this level.
